Pete Woelper

Pete Woelper has 30 years of experience supporting federal tax policy experts in Washington, DC. In addition to compiling a daily summary of tax-related news articles and other relevant information intended to update clients on latest developments in the tax policy arena, he also monitors federal legislation and conducts research on a variety of tax legislative, regulatory, economic, and political topics.

Prior to joining Capitol Tax Partners, Pete was an associate with the Federal Policy Group for over 25 years. Before that he was an assistant in PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Washington National Tax Service.

After graduating from Azusa Pacific University with a BA in English he lived in England for a year and headed the editorial staff of the publishing department for a small law school in London.

He currently lives in Bethesda, Maryland and enjoys camping, doing yoga, and exploring the many types of culinary traditions available in the Washington, DC area with his wife, Karla.
